Current Undocumented Students

As a member of the global community, SIUE’s mission is to shape a changing world by providing access to higher education to all individuals, regardless of their citizenship status. You are our students.

You are welcome and appreciated for the contribution of your unique identities and lived experiences to the richness of our increasingly diverse and inclusive campus. SIUE recognizes the turmoil created by the reversal of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, confusion created by the lack of a clear pathway toward citizenship, fear stimulated by threat of deportation, and general uncertainty/invisibility you may face on a daily basis. SIUE is dedicated to supporting you. The resources contained within this page are designed to point you in the direction of that support.
