Student Affairs Roles and Responsibilities
April 9- June 1
Spring is here!
Student Affairs would like to invite your department to participate in our “Spring forward to a healthier you!" campaign! The purpose of this campaign is to promote a healthier you by focusing on mental and physical well being.
A healthy physical, mental, and emotional state are critical to a happy self. This year, spring forward to a healthier you by participating in our release campaign, ridding our body of not only those extra pounds, but also the other mental and emotional weight we carry on a day-to-day basis.
Here’s how the campaign works!
The event will begin April 9. It will last 8 weeks and each participant will keep track of his or her progress. Student Affairs will post two logs to keep track, one mental and one physical log. You do not have to do both logs. It is completely up to each participant on what he or she wants to work on.
The mental log will focus on different aspects to a healthy mental state. The physical log will focus on body composition measurements. If you are looking to improve your physical health, the Wellness Center will be available to measure your progress on a log that will be provided.
To receive body composition measurements to improve physical health, please visit the Wellness Center in the Student Fitness Center on the following dates:
Student Affairs will send out weekly articles by email to help assist in improving your mental health. To help with your physical health, we will also be sending out a weekly healthy, delicious recipe!
