Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Assistant Professor of Sociology. Full-time, tenure track beginning August 2010. Specializations in Race and Ethnic Relations and Theory. Secondary specializations in Medical Sociology and/or Urban Sociology preferred. Ph.D. in sociology, ABD considered. Teach at least four sociology courses in the spring and fall semesters as assigned. Classes include but are not limited to introductory sociology, race and ethnic relations, gender, and social problems. Possible involvement in sociology senior assignment mentoring.
