MSG Edwin A. Justin
MSG Edwin A. Justin is a native of Waterford, Michigan. He Graduated from Waterford Mott High School in Class of 1991 and enlisted in the Army in April of 1994. He attended Basic Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Bliss, Texas as a 24T (Patriot Operator/System Mechanic). In 1998 he transitioned to a 14E (Enhanced Patriot Operator/System Mechanic). MSG Justin has served tours of duty in Fort Hood, Fort Bliss (three times), South Korea, Fort Jackson, Fort Bragg and Fort Sill. His duty positions include: Tactical Director Assistant, Tactical Control Assistant, System Maintenance Section Chief, Engagement Control Team Leader and Section Chief, Platoon Sergeant, Drill Sergeant, Drill Sergeant Leader, 14E Career Manager and Warrior Leader Course School Chief as 1SG.
His awards include the Bronze Star Medal; Meritorious Service Medal (1OLC); Army Commendation Medal (7OLC); Army Achievement Medal (7OLC) Army Good Conduct Medal (6th Award); National Defense Service Medal (#2); Korea Defense Service Medal; Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal; Southwest Asia Service Medal with Bronze Star; Iraq Campaign Medal with Bronze Star; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (#3); Army Service Ribbon and Overseas Ribbon (#2)
MSG Justin has deployed twice in support of OPERATION DESERT FOX (95 and 97) and once in support of OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM (08-09).
MSG Justin is married to his wife Michelle of nine years and is an inductee in the Honorable Order of Saint Barbara and Sergeant Audie Murphy Club (SAMC) and was the former President of the Fort Sill Chapter.
