MSG James Gill

MSG Gill entered the Army on 25 June 1998 from Curwensville, Pennsylvania and attended Basic training at Fort Sill, OK and advanced individual training at Fort Bliss, TX as a 14S Avenger Crew Member.

His duty positions include Stinger Gunner, Stinger Team Chief, Avenger Team Chief, Avenger Squad Leader, Avenger and C-RAM Platoon Sergeant, Recruiter, First Sergeant and Battalion Operations Sergeant Major.

MSG Gill’s assignments include A Btry 5-5 ADA Camp Casey, Korea; 9th Air Defense Btry 1-11 ACR Fort Irwin, CA; C and D Btry 3-4 ADA Fort Bragg, NC; Pittsburgh, Mid-Atlantic, and Baltimore Recruiting Battalions; A Btry 5-5 ADA JBLM, WA; A, B, C, and HHB Btry’s 2-44 ADA Fort Campbell, KY

His Military Education includes Warrior Leaders Course, Basic and Advanced Noncommissioned Officers Course, Senior Leaders Course, Army Recruiter Course, United States Air Force Airlift Planner Course, Jungle Warfare School, US Army Airborne, Air Assault, and Pathfinder Courses.
