                                                                                  Major Kenneth Wilson

       Major Wilson began his military career when he enlisted into the United States Army Reserves in 1989 after graduating Lane Tech High School (Chicago, IL 1989). He then joined the ROTC program and also elected to participate in the Simultaneous Membership program at Chicago State University 1993. MAJ Wilson was commissioned in Army Aviation in December 1994. MAJ Wilson attended Army Aviation Flight School located at Fort Rucker, AL from January 1995 until June 1996 where he became a rated aviator in the UH-1H Iroquois helicopter and the CH-47D Chinook helicopter. Since his graduation from flight school, MAJ Wilson has served at Camp Humphrey's Korea, Fort Campbell, Kentucky and three tours in Germany. His duties include, Flight Section Leader, Assistant Operations Officer, Flight Platoon Leader, Battalion Training Officer, Company Executive Officer, Aviation Battalion Intelligence Officer, Company Commander, Military Transition Team Operations Officer, Airfield Operations Battalion Executive Officer, Brigade Aviation Officer, US Army Europe G3 Aviation Chief Command Operation/Intelligence Center and Stability Transition Team Chief.

       Major Wilson's awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal (2); Meritorious Service Medal; Army Commendation Medal (3); Army Achievement Medal (1); National Defense Service Medal (2); Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Korean Defense Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon and Overseas Service Ribbon (5) . Major Wilson has also been awarded the Army Aviator Badge, Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge and Combat Action Badge.

       MAJ Wilson has served three deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and one deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

       MAJ Wilson is a graduate of the Army Aviation Officer's Basic Course, the Captain's Career Course, The Combined Arms and Services Staff College. His education includes a Bachelors of Science Degree in Finance from Chicago State University and he has completed a Masters degree in Military Management from Trident University.

       MAJ Wilson is married to Paula M. Wilson and they have 3 children: Deonte Brooks, Tyiehesha Jackson, and Ken Wilson Jr.
