Friends of the Religious Center's 5th annual Spiritual Leadership Awards dinner was held on October 20, 2007. This years theme was "A Fuller Future: Historic Preservation for the Religious Center Dome". This year's award was presented to Mr. Gary Karasek, AIA, of Belleville, IL Gary Karasek is an architect, landscape designer, illustrator, painter and creator of public art. With over 20 years experience in religious architecture, Gary's current work is on the leading edge of "green" architecture.

Celebration of World Faiths - 2008 at the Religious Center at SIUE
Pauline Hillaire of the Lummi Nation of the Pacific Northwest Coast presents on June 25 thru June 28 at 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM each day. Attend any or all sessions, open to the public with stories and songs for all ages. Donations accepted with thanks. Parking is available in Visitor's Lot B between the Religious Center and Morris University Center for $1 per hour, parking is free Friday evening and all day Saturday.
