Suspension Appeal for Reinstatement Form Instructions

Students who have been suspended for the first time are eligible to return after one semester of non-enrollment.  Appeal is not required in this case.  However, the student must meet with his/her advisor prior to return and regularly during the return semester.  Students who have been suspended twice must seek approval from the Suspension Appeals Committee prior to return.  Students may petition the Appeals Committee after one semester of non-enrollment by completing the Academic Suspension Reinstatement Appeal  form. Reinstatement is not automatic. It is dependent on Committee review of a number of factors. The completed form must be received by the Appeals Committee (see address below) by the deadline listed below for the term for which you are seeking reinstatement. Students who have been suspended three times are not eligible to return.


Suspension Appeal Submission Deadlines

Seeking reinstatement for Spring term: October 1
Seeking reinstatement for Summer term: March 1
Seeking reinstatement for Fall term: July 1
