Campus tours are offered during fall and spring semesters at 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. During the summer, tours are offered at 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. Please note that we require 7 business days' notice for tours. If you would like to take a tour with less than 7 days' notice, please call the Office of Admissions at 800-447-SIUE from Illinois or Missouri, or 618-650-3705 from anywhere, to find out whether tours are available.
Upon arrival at the SIUE office of Admissions in Rendleman Hall, room 2120, you will meet with an admission counselor for approximately 30 minutes. You'll learn some the basics about SIUE and have a chance to ask questions.
Tours are conducted by SIUE student ambassadors, known as STARs (STudents Assisting in Recruiting). Campus tours include a walking narrative of our academic facilities, our fitness center and recreation areas, our dining facilities, and a freshman residence hall. The tour typically lasts an hour and a half. We do not include Cougar Village or Evergreen Hall on the regular tour, but welcome you to contact our office if you would like to see an apartment in Cougar Village. Appropriate accommodations for persons with disabilities may be made if we receive notice.

The School of Nursing’s Simulated Learning Center for the Health Sciences is available for tours on Friday afternoons by appointment. All tours of this lab should be scheduled through the School of Nursing Undergraduate Director at 618-650-3968 or 800-234-4844.
