Katherine Dunham Hall houses the departments of Theater and Dance, Music, and Mass Communications. Plays, musicals, recitals, band concerts and choral clinics are held here. Students make make use of the building's TV studio, multimedia computer lab, video editing lab and photojournalism dark room.
A computer writing lab is available on the second floor. The Office of Information Technology and WSIE-FM, the second highest rated public radio station in Illinois, are located in the lower level of Dunham Hall.
The Music wing, added in 1995, houses several studios and a recording studio that is among the best in the Midwest.
