Our International Student Services office provides a number of services to help you prepare for your journey to our campus, and support you once you’ve arrived.

We have a number of student organizations of interest to international students. Look through the list for one that might interest you.

We are delighted that you are interested in studying at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, just ask.

Estimated Student Expenses

Summer session courses are $436 for each credit hour. Mandatory fees are approximately $300 for summer. Undergraduate students must enroll in 12 or more credit hours in fall and spring semesters. Any exceptions to this must be approved by an International Student Advisor.

Graduate students must enroll in 9 credit hours in fall and spring semesters (6 for Graduate Assistants). Any exceptions to this must be approved by an International Student Advisor.

Application Fee Waived for Fall 2009

Undergraduate international students applying for the fall 2009 semester will not be required to pay the application fee.
