I’m Traci Forys, Coordinator of the Alumni Ambassadors program and Admission Counselor at SIUE. First of all, a big Thank You for volunteering — or considering volunteering — as an Alumni Ambassador. Your time and talents are integral to the Office of Admissions in helping prospective students with the college search, application, and admission process. Firsthand accounts of what it’s like to be a student here, as well as important advice about the “real” world of work, can really help those considering SIUE.
As a member of the Alumni Association, I join you in supporting our alma mater. I believe this program will benefit not only prospective students, but yourself as well — as SIUE approaches its 50th anniversary, Alumni Ambassadors offers a golden opportunity for you to reconnect with SIUE and reminisce about your days as an undergrad.

Admitted Student Receptions
Held in various places throughout Illinois in the spring, these events provide useful “what-you-can-expect” information for students who have applied for admission and been accepted. Receptions typically are scheduled in March.
You’ll receive in February an invitation to any receptions in your area. If you do not live near a reception, but would still like to attend, please send an e-mail to tforys@siue.edu.
