Edwardsville Fire Department responded to address on S Research Dr for a fire alarm activation. SIUE units
responded to assist. SIUE arrived to find the building secure and no smoke showing. SIUE units stood by
until Edwardsville could arrive on scene. Fire Department said there are problems with the alarm system at
that building. There is no fire. They are going to leave the system alone for now. The exterior alarm will
continue to sound.

11-0094. Officer picked up Makyra M Adams from St Clair Co Jail on an Active SIUE Warrant. Adams was
arrested and transferred there by PD Swansea. Adams was transported to SIUE PD, was arrested and
processed on warrant FTA/Driving While Suspended. She was unable to post bond and was transported to
Madison Co Jail. Warrant was cancelled from LEADS.

in lot A with its door open, items inside the vehicle and no one around it. He reported seeing a middle eastern
man with dark complexion, wearing a dark hoodie and dark pants, about 5'2" 140 lbs walking away from the
vicinity of the car. Officer located the vehicle and secured it. He left a note on the car for the driver to contact
us if anything is missing.
