CRIME ALERT

SIUE Police Department

The University Police Department is investigating a report of an armed robbery that occurred on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at approximately 7:00 pm. A female student advised she was walking on the bike trail near the Gardens when an unknown male subject grabbed her and placed a sharp object against her back. The suspect demanded that she give him her wallet and fled the scene with a small amount of cash and her ring.
