The curriculum workgroup will review the previous International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) pharmacy school curricular recommendations as previously released (1992) and propose recommendations for the following: model content for integration into curriculum (pharmacology / therapeutics), as a stand-alone elective course, integration into Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) core rotations, and model content for a stand-alone pain and palliative care APPE elective or selective. Recommendations from this workgroup will be presented to the IASP for adoption.
