This workgroup will identify current available pain and palliative care related credentialing opportunities for pharmacists with an expertise in this practice area. Additionally, ideal methods for which to credential pharmacists with this specific expertise will be discussed and recommendations disseminated. Organizations requested to send representation to this workgroup will include Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties, American Academy of Pain Management, American Society of Pain Educators, American Academy of Pain Medicine, and the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
