While Pharm. D. education is the primary mission of the SIUE School of Pharmacy, enhancement of research and scholarship is also a priority. As the Pharm. D. program matures over the next few years, we will further evaluate the need for graduate education in the School of Pharmacy.
Faculty in the SIUE School of Pharmacy explores opportunities for research collaborations with other University departments, the SIU Medical School, and the National Corn to Ethanol Research Center. The opportunity for collaborative research projects to develop at the SIU School of Medicine will increase as our pharmacy practice sites are established in Springfield and East St. Louis.
We are also exploring ways to interact with pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms in the metropolitan St. Louis area. A summary of research interests and representative publications for faculty in Pharmacy Practice and Pharmaceutical Sciences is given below.
