SIUE School of Pharmacy

Addressing a growing need in Southern and Central Illinois, as well as the nation at large, for well-trained pharmacists in a career field that is experiencing rapid and dramatic growth, SIU has opened a School of Pharmacy on its Edwardsville Campus.

The initiation of the School of Pharmacy represents a significant expansion of SIUE’s educational offerings in the area of health sciences. The School expects has enrolled 83 students in its inaugural class, toward its goal of accommodating 300 students per year in ensuing years. The school is positioning to enhance pharmacy practice, economic development, and quality of health care in Central and Southern Illinois.
