 | Dr. Chris Lynch, Acting Associate Dean for Student Affairs, is a native of Southern Illinois who returned to the area of New Orleans, where he taught and practiced for the last 10 years. He joined SIUE as an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice and the Southern Regional Coordinator. Recently, Dr. Lynch was promoted to Professor of Pharmacy Practice. He received his B.S. and Doctorate of Pharmacy from St. Louis College of Pharmacy and completed a residency in Family Medicine and Clinical Community Pharmacy at St. John’s Mercy Medical, Department of Family Medicine. Faculty experiences include the University of Illinois Chicago, Tulane University Medical School and the University of Louisiana at Monroe, where Dr. Lynch received the Alumni Association’s Outstanding Faculty Award. Clinical experiences include serving as the director of pharmacy services for the Diabetes Center of Excellence at Charity Hospital New Orleans. His research interests include diabetes, hypertension and women’s health. |
