Clinical interests:

My clinical specialty area is community-based pharmacy practice.  My interests include delivery of patient care services, medication therapy management, disease state education, and self-care.  Other areas of interest relate to health and wellness such as preventative screenings.  I also enjoy mentoring residents and students to assist with their professional development.

Practice site information:

My practice site is at the Schnucks Pharmacy in Edwardsville, Illinois.  Currently, I am working to develop and implement pharmacy services.  Specific programs include medication therapy management services, smoking cessation classes, blood pressure management clinic, providing immunizations, cardiovascular risk assessments, and diabetes education classes.  I serve as a preceptor for students on the Community Pharmacy rotation during the final professional year.

Scholarly interests:

My research interests consist of development and implementation of clinical pharmacy services in the community setting.
