New Freshmen

If you are an admitted new freshmen admitted for the Fall semester, you will be sent registration information to attend Springboard to Success, a freshman orientation and enrollment program for admitted freshmen (and family members). This program includes academic advisement and course registration, but also assists you in learning about the resources for success at SIUE.

During the Springboard to Success program, all incoming freshmen attend a mandatory meeting with their academic advisor to discuss and register for their first semester of courses. At that meeting, you will either be enrolled in your courses or given a Course Request Form outlining all of the courses in which you will enroll.

New freshmen admitted for the Spring and Summer semesters will be advised through the Academic Advising Office as Springboard to Success is only offered for incoming fall semester freshmen.
