The School of Nursing is fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
The Student Nurses’ Association (SNA) is a pre-professional organization for the American Nurses’ Association. Member students of SIUE participate in the 10th District Illinois Nurses’ Association.
SNA Membership enables the student to belong to the state and national (NSNA) student nurse associations. Membership dues are $15.00 per year and are payable in October for the ensuing academic year. Membership in this association is open to those students who are considering nursing as their major area of concentration, or who have been accepted into the School of Nursing.

Next Meeting:
The Student Nurses' Association will be having its first meeting of the 2008-2009 school year Thursday, September 4, 2008, at 6:00 p.m. in the Abbott Auditorium located in the basement of the Lovejoy Library. Upcoming events for the month of September will be discussed and members will break into planning committees. Clipboards and sweatshirts will be offered for sale! Membership forms and fees can be turned it in during the meeting. Extra forms will be available.
