Friday, December 1, 2008 Fall 2008 Thesis Project Day All master’s degree candidates are required to participate in the Thesis/Project Presentation day. One or two days are designated by the Assistant Dean of the Graduate Programs for formal presentation of thesis and projects by graduating students. This experience will include the following: - All graduate students will give a formal PowerPoint presentation of their thesis or project.
- Each presentation will last twenty (20) minutes, with approximately fifteen (15) minutes to present his/her thesis or project, and five (5) minutes to respond to any questions from students, faculty and guests.
- After a satisfactory completion of the presentations, Committee Chairs approve the final completion paperwork and submit the thesis or project to the SIUE Graduate School as part of the student's requirements for graduation.
The next Project Presentation Day is scheduled for December 1, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. in the MUC Hickory/Hackberry/Oak/Redbud Rooms. Information for Students All graduating students are expected to attend. All faculty members and graduate students are welcome and encouraged to attend.
