Need for Private Support
The School of Nursing is fulfilling the human potential of nurses and nurse candidates in our region. Extraordinary enrollment growth—coupled with a program that has outgrown its current physical space— has given us cause to look to how and whom we are preparing for nursing practice. We need the support of private gifts from alumni, friends and corporate partners now, more than ever.
The School of Nursing has identified two strategically important goals: an Advanced Education Simulated Learning Center that will focus completely on graduate nurse education and endowing our Student Nurse Achievement Program (SNAP) to make certain students from underserved communities can earn a nursing degree and return to their communities to practice.
