I am pleased to inform you that you have been selected to receive a Competitive Graduate Award (CGA) for the 2021-2022 academic year. Congratulations on this outstanding achievement!

The CGA includes a total stipend of $8,370, as well as a waiver of tuition for two semesters plus the following summer of graduate study at SIUE. You are responsible for paying all fees each semester. Your stipend will be paid each month ($930/month) during the academic year. Throughout the term of the CGA, recipients are required to enroll in graduate study as a classified graduate student (at least six semester hours), remain in good academic standing (3.0 GPA or higher) and must participate satisfactorily in a scholarly activity mentored by a faculty member.

Please read the award conditions carefully, and complete the acceptance survey no later than April 15.
