The Morris University Center (MUC) serves as the primary meeting location on the campus of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville for registered student organizations, campus departments, and organizations from the larger community. The MUC is an ideal setting for meetings, conferences, or special events due to its central location, meeting room amenities, and catering services.
The Morris University Center has posted the rates for room rental and technical services provided in the MUC (See Rates Below). All registered student organizations and SIUE departments are exempt from meeting room charges in the MUC. The exception to this guideline is when there is an event with a registration fee, admission charge or cash donation requested at the door.
An event sponsored by a non-university group will incur the full pricing for rooms and services.

The Event Services office is located on the upper level of the MUC. The helpful staff will assist with all aspects of event planning. The office hours are 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. For additional information, call (618) 650-3001.
