Morris University Center (MUC) is SIUE’s primary meeting location for registered student organizations, campus offices, and organizations from the larger community. MUC is an ideal setting for meetings, conferences, or special events due to its central location, meeting room amenities, and catering services.
Morris University Center has posted the rates for its room rental and technical services. (See Rates Below.) Registered student organizations and SIUE departments are exempt from meeting room charges in the MUC, except for events with a registration fee, admission charge or cash donation requested at the door.
An event sponsored by a non-university group will incur full pricing for rooms and services.
The Event Services office is on the upper level of MUC. The helpful staff will assist with all aspects of event planning. Office hours are 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday. For more information, call (618) 650-‑001.
