Marketing and Communications

Chris joined the Marketing and Communications team in October 2006, overseeing SIUE’s institutional Web site while developing and maintaining media for the site. Chris is no stranger to SIUE, earning a bachelor of science in mass communications in 2004 and a master of science in kinesiology in 2006. Chris began his career at SIUE as a news anchor, reporter and play-by-play broadcaster for WSIE-FM from 2000-04. For the next two years, Chris served as the graduate assistant in the Sports Information office at SIUE, earning valuable experience in Web maintenance and design, media relations and broadcasting. Chris also was Webmaster for Brauss Creative, maintaining the St. Louis Blues Hockey Club’s Web site during the 2006 season.
