Bluff Hall opened in fall 2001, housing approximately 500 students, a 24-hour state-of-the-art computer lab, a laundry, a snack bar, and an activity wing. The hall is a freshman building and is home to SIUE’s Focused Interest Communities.
Focused Interest Communities (FICs) allow students with the same interest or major to live near each other. Sharing their experiences in a community setting helps students expand their understanding of special interest areas and develop an appreciation for perspectives different from their own through University Housing.
