Library Instruction is a continuum partnership between classroom and library faculty. The Instruction Program's main objective is to
provide opportunities for introducing users to the facilities, organization, resources, and services of Lovejoy Library. The Information Literacy Competency Standards promote the framework for program development and instructional goals and objectives. Additional information is available about Lovejoy Library's Information Literacy Competencies for Students. The Instruction Program further facilitates user-centered learning through various emerging technologies by assisting in locating, retrieving, evaluating, and using information resources.
