What is a Library Consultation?
It is a chance to meet with a member of the Library Instruction staff for one-on-one assistance in library research. The Instruction staff member will help you determine how your research might best be approached, introduce you to basic print and non-print resources, explain to you how to use them, and may even refer you to the subject librarian if enough resources cannot be located. This service is provided for undergraduates only.
What it isn't?
The Instruction staff will focus on the research -- not the composition -- process. For assistance with writing or editing your paper or speech, you should contact the Writing Center in Peck Hall, Room 1419.
How do I arrange a Library Consultation?
Appointments may be arranged a minimum of 3 working days in advance by completing the form below. The information you provide will allow the staff member to become familiar with your research project and better prepare for your consultation. We encourage you to schedule your appointment as far in advance as possible.
