<h2>How Do I Perform a Title Search in the SIUE Catalog?<br /></h2>

<p style="margin-left: 0.25in;" class="bodytext">The title search allows you to search for a word or words in a title or a book, magazine, journal or newspaper.</p>
<ul>
<li>In the "Search" box, type the <strong>title</strong> of the resource. </li>
<li>Omit initial articles (“a,” “an,” or “the”).</li>
<li>From the "within" menu, choose either "Title or "Journal/Magazine Title".</li>
<li>Click the "Search" button.</li>
<li>View the results.</li>
<li>To perform a more specific search using both the author and title, use the <a href="https://i-share.carli.illinois.edu/sie/vwebv/searchAdvanced" target="_blank">Advanced</a> search tab. </li>
