<body>&lt;table width="582"&gt;    &lt;tr&gt;        &lt;td id="content"&gt;            &lt;h3&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Instruction Program Goals and Objectives&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/h3&gt;            &lt;h3&gt;&lt;/h3&gt;            &lt;p&gt;Activities in the teaching and understanding of information literacy are provided.&amp;nbsp; Library users will learn to find, locate, retrieve, evaluate, use, and value information resources through learner-centered instructional programs, initiatives, and materials.&amp;nbsp; The Program provides independent, individual, and group instruction through point-of-use, course-integrated, web-based, and&amp;nbsp; workshop sessions.&lt;/p&gt;            &lt;p class="bodytext"&gt;Library Instruction Learning Objectives include:&lt;/p&gt;            &lt;ul&gt;                &lt;li&gt;Become familiar with library facilities, organization, resources, and services.&lt;/li&gt;                &lt;li&gt;Learn how to find books, periodical articles, and other resources.&lt;/li&gt;                &lt;li&gt;Understand the basics of doing library research.&lt;/li&gt;                &lt;li&gt;Learn how to find and evaluate information on the Internet.&lt;/li&gt;                &lt;li&gt;Understand that further help is available through contact at the Information Desk and/or subject librarians.&lt;/li&gt;            &lt;/ul&gt;            &lt;p&gt;Specific Course Objectives include helping users to accomplish the following:&lt;/p&gt;            &lt;ul&gt;                &lt;li&gt;Analyze a topic and identify key concepts.&lt;/li&gt;                &lt;li&gt;Formulate a successful search strategy.&lt;/li&gt;                &lt;li&gt;Understand and use controlled vocabulary and thesauri.&lt;/li&gt;                &lt;li&gt;Select and use appropriate print and electronic research tools for their particular assignment/discipline.&lt;/li&gt;                &lt;li&gt;Critically evaluate sources regarding their relevancy, authority, accuracy, objectivity, content, and currency.&lt;/li&gt;                &lt;li&gt;Integrate these information literacy concepts and skills into their academic experience and apply them to a field of study.&lt;/li&gt;            &lt;/ul&gt;        &lt;/td&gt;    &lt;/tr&gt;&lt;/table&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</body>
