John Kendall, was instrumental in bringing the Suzuki Music Method to the United States. In 1959, Mr. Kendall travelled to Japan where he met and worked with Shinichi Suzuki . Professor Kendall developed and directed the Suzuki program at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville for more than thirty years, until his retirement in 1994.
