The Library has been fortunate to recently acquire Collections One and Two of the Synthesis Digital Library of Engineering and Computer Science from Morgan & Claypool.
These are perpetual access, one-time-fee collections of dynamic, cutting-edge ebook content in Engineering, Computer & Information Science, and the Biomedical Sciences. Authored by prominent scholars and adopted by many U.S. Engineering School libraries, these collections are comprised of short (usually 200 pages or less) lectures on discrete engineering topics. Some of you may recall these digital lectures from a trial we had about two years ago.
Synthesis content is indexed by Compendex, our U-Find Online Catalog, and also by Google Scholar.
Two examples of lectures would be:
Understanding Circuits: Learning Problem Solving Using Circuit Analysis (142 p., intended for a college freshman-level class in problem solving, where the particular problems deal with electrical and electronic circuits)
DSP for MATLAB and LabVIEW I: Fundamentals of Discrete Signal Processing .
