The Self-Instruction Lab is open to the public and provides for the use of all materials in the Audio Visual Services media collection as well as faculty reserve material. Students may use the lab for a wide range of material including videotapes, audio tapes, computer programs, DVDs, and CD ROMs. Faculty may put any variety of study material on Reserve in the Library, including material from the media collection. Lab assistants are available during all open lab hours to operate equipment.
A collection of approximately 300 CD ROMs and computer disks are available as reserve material covering a wide range of subject areas. Faculty may put these items on reserve for their students or check them out to be used as part of classroom instruction. Students may use the CD ROMs and Computer disks for research or entertainment purposes in the lab. For information about the Self-Instruction Lab, refer to Staff and Hours of Operation.
