This Food and Drink Policy is an effort by Library and Information Services to maintain its facilities, collections, equipment and furnishings in the best possible condition for all users. By promoting responsible behavior, the policy attempts to achieve a balance between our users' social needs and our responsibility to protect LIS resources.
DRINK
Non-alcoholic beverages in spill-resistant containers are permitted. Those in open containers should be consumed in areas set aside for this purpose, such as the Library's vending area.
FOOD
Snacks that can be consumed without causing damage to resources or distractions to others may be consumed in all areas except those specified below:
