This session will address partnerships between university faculty, K-12 educators, and non-profits in science, technology, engineering and mathematics education. Of key interest will be challenges and solutions to building partnerships as well as a consideration of successful models. Panelist will also discuss how STEM education projects can be a strong asset to National Science Foundation applications and the" broader impacts" requirement. A following interactive discussion will consider what sort of opportunities and challenges exist in the region for building partnerships.
