Fulbright Awards provide one of the premier avenues for international research and lectureship exchanges. Dr. Andrew Reiss of the Institute of International Education's Department of Scholarly and Professional Programs will discuss programs available to university scholars, graduate students, and university administrators seeking to conduct projects abroad. Programs such as the Core Program, The Specialist Program, The Nexus Program, and the New Century Scholars Program will show the various avenues of international scholarship and teaching exchange that are facilitated through Fulbright. Bringing their personal experiences to the panel will be Dr. Joseph Stimpfl, a previous Fulbright fellowship recipient, and Dr. Grant Chapman, Director of International Programs at Webster University. Discussion will highlight idiosyncrasies of the Fulbright funding suite, qualities of a strong proposal, reviewer insights, and other information for first-time or repeat applicants.
