Jason Knouft, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology at Saint Louis University. His research interests include evolutionary ecology and biogeography of freshwater fishes, with a focus on using GIS techniques and field based research to understand the historical and contemporary factors regulating freshwater fish assemblages across multiple spatial scales. A 2009 NSF Career Award recipient, Dr. Knouft has been successful in obtaining supplementary funding from the NSF, as well as funding from the EPA and the Kemper-Stupp Foundation.
