The Gardens at SIUE is a 35-acre public garden on the SIUE campus featuring woodlands, ponds, grasslands, and sculpture.  The Gardens at SIUE is a collaboration with Missouri Botanical Garden and is recognized as a Signature Garden.

 

What will the volunteers do? 

 

Volunteers will assist with tree planting, general clean up, removal of invasive plants, and educational programs.  

                               

·         Participants need to wear work clothes, sturdy shoes, and gloves.

·         Meet at SIUE Gardens, at the Morris Bike Trail (look for signs).

·         Free—however, advance registration is required.

·         Sign-up sheets and further instructions are available at the Kimmel Leadership Center.

·         Bring a friend!

Thursdays (1pm-4pm): 9/19, 10/3, 10/17, 10/31, 11/14

Fridays (9am-12pm): 9/20, 10/4, 10/18, 11/1, 11/15

Spring 2014 Project Dates

Saturdays (9am-12pm): 3/29, 4/12, 4/26

Thursdays (1pm-4pm): 3/27, 4/10, 4/24, 5/1

Fridays (9am-12pm): 3/28, 4/11, 4/25 (Arbor Day), 5/2
