What is Safe Connections?
The oldest and largest locally-founded agency serving survivors of domestic and sexual violence in the St. Louis region, Safe Connections provides integrated counseling and support services for women who have been victimized by domestic violence, sexual assault, rape and/or childhood sexual abuse.
What will the volunteers do?
Projects can be anything from filing, stuffing envelopes, creating marketing, organizing storage areas, labeling items, making copies and the list goes on. These tasks are intentionally chosen because they require little to no training but significantly affect work flow at the agency.
Participants need to wear suitable clothing and sturdy shoes.
Transportation will be provided.
Free-however, advance registration is required.
Sign-up sheets and further instructions are available at the Kimmel Student Involvement Center.
