Boy Scout Food Drive

  Volunteers are needed to assist at Community Care Center with the national Boy Scout Food Drive.  The scout troops will collect the food from houses around the greater Granite City, Illinois area and deliver the items to Community Care Center.  Volunteers will assist with weighing, counting, sorting, replenishing the food pantry, and sorting the food items collected.  Community Care Center staff will distribute the food through their food pantry the following Thanksgiving week for families and individuals who are in need.

  This volunteer project allows you to explore and become involved in the community, meet new people, and gain community service hours toward the completion of the Student Leadership Development Program.

Group 1 Depart:  8:00 a.m. Parking Lot B, SIUE

Group 1 Return: 12:00 p.m. Parking Lot B, SIUE

Group 2 Depart: 9:30 a.m., Parking Lot B, SIUE

Group 2 Return:  2:30pm Parking Lot B, SIUE
