M3C Fellows Americorps Program
$1,000.00 Education Award

  The M3C Fellows Americorps program is an opportunity for students to gain assistance with school loans by volunteering in the community for 300 hours. The 300 hours can be divided into 150 hours each fall and spring semester.  An Americorps educational stipend of $1,000.00 will be awarded following completion of the 300 hour volunteer requirement. 
 
Students will be placed with community agencies working toward change through civic engagement in the areas of education, social, economic, health, and safety in the Illinois Metro-East area.  Students will be supervised by agency staff and staff of the Student Leadership Development Program and Volunteer Services.
  The M3C Fellows Americorps program includes training on civic engagement and leadership.  The training time counts toward the volunteer hours.

Requirements:  Open to all currently enrolled undergraduate students
