How to Join SLDP
The Student Leadership Development Program is open to all students regardless of major or class standing. Students may receive an application and schedule an appointment for an orientation at the Kimmel Leadership Center, located on the first floor of the Morris University Center. General orientations are held on the first Tuesday, at 2:00 PM and 6:30 PM and Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. the first through third weeks of schools at the computer lab in Peck Hall 1410. Students may enter the program at anytime.
Requirements for Completion
| Modules | Volunteer Service |
| Attend 20 modules | 60 hours of volunteer service |
| Modules #1 - #10 required | 30 hours must be completed in the community |
| Ten elective modules #11 - #24 | Verification of Service Forms completed |
| Attend a structured volunteer service reflection session |
Dates to Apply for Completion
Exit interviews must be scheduled by November 1 for Fall semester and March 1 for Spring semester. Verification of completed volunteer services and module attendance will occur during the exit interview. Development of the student's SLDP transcript will occur after the exit interview.
