The Student Leadership Development Program offers a wide variety of opportunities that complement the classroom experience. These opportunities can give you a competitive edge as you enter the work force, or apply for scholarships, or Graduate School. All enrolled SIUE students may participate in the program regardless of academic major or class standing. There are no admission requirements or fees for the Student Leadership Development Program. The program is designed to be completed at your own pace and according to your career interest. Students are encouraged to begin early in their academic career to receive the maximum benefits of the program. The program consists of two components: Leadership Development Modules and University and Community Service (volunteerism). For a small fee, additional professional development programs are offered including the IMAGE (Interviewing, Manners, Attire, Grooming, and Etiquette) Program, and Stephen R. Covey's Seven Habits of Highly Effective People® Workshop. This website contains the SLDP calendar of programs, dates, times and locations.
