Student Government's External Affairs committee is the central entity responsible for creating excellent working relationships throughout the community. Additionally, the committee oversees all advocacy initiatives, the student discount program, and Student Government's community service.
On April 22, 2010, Student Government will be taking a group of students to Springfield, Illinois to lobby the state legislature for higher education.
