Executive Board

Amber Suggs

Student Trustee

The Student Trustee serves as the SIUE representative to the SIU Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees is the governing body for the SIU system (Carbondale & Edwardsville campuses). Each year, either the Student Trustee from Edwardsville or Carbondale receives a binding student vote.  The other Student Trustee receives an advisory vote.  The Student Trustee, along with the rest of the Board, is responsible for voting on important issues such as: tuition and fees, new project approval, and new degrees of instruction.  For more information about the office of Student Trustee, please review the Student Government Constitution.
