The External Affairs Committee shall be responsible for all activities outside of Student Government, including lobbying efforts and community involvement.
MAP Grant Funding
On October 15, 2009, SIUE Student Government will lobbying the Illinois state legislature with other Illinois universities. Our goal is to persuade them to increase the amount of funds allocated towards MAP grant funding.
Currently, SIUE Student Government is looking for students interested in joining us in Springfield, Illinois for this cause. Student Government will be providing excused absence letters to professors and transportation. If you are interested, please fill out the form at the link below.
