Fraternity rush takes place during the Fall Semester (September 12-17, 2011), and once again early in the Spring Semester. Rush gives interested men the opportunity to attend a variety of events offered by different fraternity chapters, in order to find the best fit for them. Events are held throughout the week and rushees may choose which events they wish to attend (unless they are invite only events).
• Any man who wishes to participate in Fraternity Rush must have a minimum 2.5 GPA from high school (for first semester freshmen) or college GPA to be eligible to participate.
• Many fraternities will sponsor pre-rush events that any SIUE student may attend. These events will give you the opportunity to learn more about Greek Life before rush begins.
• There is no registration fee for Fraternity Rush, but a registration form must be completed. The form is available in the Kimmel Leadership Center or click here.
