Each adviser must sign an Adviser/Fiscal Officer Authorization Form as part of the student organization registration process each fall or whenever there is a change in adviser.
The Adviser serves as a liaison between the group and the Kimmel Student Involvement Center and is required to:
Co-sign University documents related to the activities of the organization for the sole purpose of being informed of the group’s activities
Become familiar with University rules and regulations applicable to student organizations.
The Adviser should also be available to:
Serve as fiscal officer to the organization and provide assistance in the administration of the financial affairs of the organization.
Provide assistance in the planning and implementation of program activities
Provide assistance in the areas of organization and personal development
Ensure the group operates according to its constitution on file in the Kimmel Student Involvement Center
